Hi there! Today I have a matte layering experiment because I thought I lost my matte top coat, but it turned out it was just in my drawer with the other polishes and I didn't see it.. ahh that was strange.
I started with Hard Candy Lava and it is a 1 coater, but I like to do 2. Then I put Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure, which is a yellow-green duochrome flakey top coat. And finally, on top of it all is a coat of Orly Matte Top. I like the way it turned out!
Lava by itself
Finished mani
How do you guys like this?
Have a great week!

Sexy Nails!
Hello there bloggers! I am back today for 2 new nails. One is just a swatch, and the other is a special design for my friends, who's houses I'm going to in Maryland. I'll be there for a week so I won't be back until then for a new post. My swatch is of OPI Melon of Troy (hehe) and it's a pretty melon almost pearl finish, or frosty. It was surprisingly opaque, more than I thought it would be. I am satisfied with the color and formula, but it's just not very exciting to me.
Now for the better part of this post, the design! I started with a franken of just a sheer pink, and then I used a trick with a rubber band (instead of tape) to fill in the red tips. Next I stamped BM-209 with Sally Hansen Black Out in the fishnet design. With top coat I stuck the rhinestones in between the red and pink.
I really like these! What do you guys think of this? Have a nice spring break!

Valentines Day Mani and yayyyy new polishes!
A few days ago I did a V-Day mani but I don't really like it. It just feels too cheesy or something. But for it I used OPI's Kyoto Pearl, a red by Jordana, and some red rhinestones. I also used plate BM-221.
Lava is a red jelly base with orange sparkles, armed and ready is a gorgeous grey with gold shimmer, wrapped in rubies is a pretty metallic ruby and orange and shine of the times is a beautiful multicrome flakey polish in a clear base. It's very similar to Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure, and I have both so I'm a little disappointed but I like the Essie better.
Here's a close up of shine of the times. Isn't it pretty?!
That's all for today, I'll be back in a few days;)
This is Kyoto Pearl by itself, it's a great polish but you have to be careful about brush strokes. I should have just kept it like this but no. It must be complicated.
And for the better half of this post, my new polishes:)
