Hello everyone! It was my birthday on Sunday, and I was camping in the mountains so I couldn't do my nails on my birthday :( But I did them when I got home and I LOVE them! I've done a design pretty much exactly like this one before, but this time I did it a little differently. The base color was Blanc by Essie. I stamped the leopard design with Essie Licorice using Bundle Monster plate BM-221 (and the zebra print is 223) and filled in the spots with a dotting tool using a duo pink/purple from Charlotte Russe, Blue from Forever 21, and Pimp My Nail from NYX (green).
Also, for my birthday when there was a sale for Deborah Lippmanns I got 3 of them. I got Sugar Daddy, Bring on the Bling, and Glamorous Life. The bottles are so much smaller in real life than they seem in pictures! Still, they're not small. These are my first Deborah Lippmanns so I'll have to find out how the formulas are and everything.
Bring on the Bling
Glamorous Life
Sugar Daddy (see the awesome duochromeyness?!)

Estee Lauder Polish - Ultra Violet
I went to the outlet mall yesterday and in a cosmetics store (I forgot the name of it!) they had a few Estee Lauder polishes. Normally I don't get that high-end nail polishes, but one caught my eye. It's a black base with tons of violet sparkles and in the corner of the bottle you can see green and blue shimmers. It is truly a beauty, and I hope when I wear it you can still see a hint of the blue and green.
Isn't she gorgeous? I can't wait to put it on!

Hey Guys!
Hmm I haven't really been posting much lately. Sorry for that, I just don't really feel up to it. The weather here in Raleigh is really crazy, this week it's been in the 30's and today it was a high of 80 degrees! Very strange. I feel like you viewers are getting bored with my posts maybe? Suggestions would be awesome to make my blog better. It really makes my day when you guys comment on my posts so that would be so much appreciated! Anyway, I did a manicure with this color I have on but the sunlight went away while I was doing it so I couldn't take pictures of the design, but it will be up tomorrow. I used a new polish I bought, OPI's Guy Meets Gal-Veston. Don't we just love these names? It's very jelly-ish and it takes a few coats to get a true color. I used 3, but my pictures only got to 2 before the sun set.
These above are the first coat, and below is second.

Filligree
Today's mani was inspired by Robin Moses and she does amazing work. If you haven't seen her stuff, go check it out! I didn't do quite as well as she did because I don't have acrylic paints. Instead I used 2 frankens I made (grey and peach) and OPI Lincoln Park After Dark and an Orly white detail brush. Today I went to the mall and Trade Secret had a sale on OPI's that was buy 1 get 1 75% off so I couldn't pass that off. I bought Melon of Troy (a nice frosty peach) and Guy Meets Gal-Veston (coral jelly with a 'sorbet' finish). Sorry, no pictures of those:( But here's the manicure!
Hope you're all having a great weekend!

2 Swatches
Today I wanted to swatch a lot of new polishes of mine, but I don't feel like doing all of them today so maybe I'll do 2 more tomorrow and 2 the next day. I went to 5 Below yesterday and picked up 3 polishes- Funky Fingers Tinsel Town, Fresh Paint Olive You, and Fresh Paint Spruce Street. Fresh Paint is a division of the makers of color club and Funky Fingers, just in case you didn't recognize the name. I've never tried it before but so far so good. The colors I swatched today are Essie Armed and Ready, and Fresh Paint Olive You. A&R is a very hard to capture gold shimmer in a gunmetal grey. Olive You is also hard to get on camera, it's an olive foil with gold shimmer too but this one looks very silver in the pictures.
Here's A&R. Second photo is with flash because that is the only way I could get the shimmers in the picture.
This is Olive You. Like I said, looks silvery but it really has more of a green tone than in the pictures.
As for the formulas, they were both great so I have no complaints. Essie's new brushes seem better than before. I don't even know if they changed it or not, but the brushes seem really soft and nice.
Anyways, have a nice weekend.

Valentines Day Mani and yayyyy new polishes!
A few days ago I did a V-Day mani but I don't really like it. It just feels too cheesy or something. But for it I used OPI's Kyoto Pearl, a red by Jordana, and some red rhinestones. I also used plate BM-221.
Lava is a red jelly base with orange sparkles, armed and ready is a gorgeous grey with gold shimmer, wrapped in rubies is a pretty metallic ruby and orange and shine of the times is a beautiful multicrome flakey polish in a clear base. It's very similar to Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure, and I have both so I'm a little disappointed but I like the Essie better.
Here's a close up of shine of the times. Isn't it pretty?!
That's all for today, I'll be back in a few days;)
This is Kyoto Pearl by itself, it's a great polish but you have to be careful about brush strokes. I should have just kept it like this but no. It must be complicated.
And for the better half of this post, my new polishes:)

New Polishes & Galaxies
I went to the mall yesterday and picked up some new polishes from H&M and Forever 21. The H&M polish is double-ended with nude and plum. It's called Frosty Lavender. The Forever 21 one kind of reminds me of a peacock, it has an emerald sparkly base with turquoise and purple duochrome shimmer. It's called Blue/Green because Forever 21 polishes are vaguely named.
My manicure is galaxies with what was supposed to be like an eclipse, but you can't really tell.
I used a ton of polishes-
the base is by NYC called Skin Tight Denim
the sponged colors are:
China Glaze-Platinum Silver
Orly- White Tips
Sinful Colors-Let's Talk (purple)
NYX- Pimp My Nail (neon green)
NOPI- Kim-Pletely in Love (pink)
and on top of the whole thing is Sally Hansen - Night Lights and a black and a white striper.
