Hello there bloggers! I am back today for 2 new nails. One is just a swatch, and the other is a special design for my friends, who's houses I'm going to in Maryland. I'll be there for a week so I won't be back until then for a new post. My swatch is of OPI Melon of Troy (hehe) and it's a pretty melon almost pearl finish, or frosty. It was surprisingly opaque, more than I thought it would be. I am satisfied with the color and formula, but it's just not very exciting to me.
Now for the better part of this post, the design! I started with a franken of just a sheer pink, and then I used a trick with a rubber band (instead of tape) to fill in the red tips. Next I stamped BM-209 with Sally Hansen Black Out in the fishnet design. With top coat I stuck the rhinestones in between the red and pink.
I really like these! What do you guys think of this? Have a nice spring break!

Holographic Mermaid Nails!
I was given the idea to do mermaid nails from Nail Nerd and I just bought all of the Milani 3D Holographic nail polishes (!) so I used the blue one, called Cyberspace. These polishes are sooooo amazing. They're all holographic, and about $6 each. I'll be using these a lot soon. For this mani I did 3 coats of Cyberspace, then stamped BM-217 with a nail polish that was at PacSun by a brand called black poppy with no color name. It's really pigmented so it's wonderful for stamping with but it stains so I don't really like using it. Then in the design of the stamp I filled in a little bit of Baby Baby Baby by Funky Fingers, a great light blue glitter. Everything was topped with Seche Vite, but that dulled the base color:(
This polish looks better in artificial lights, the more yellow it is the better holo effect. That's why it looks so silver!
Hope you liked it! :D

Del Sol Nail Polish!
Hello lovelies! Now that there is sun to shine on my nails, I figured it's a good time to try out my new Del Sol polish in orange that turns pink in the sun called Sun Kissed. Here I used 4 coats because it is a little sheer and I just plain enjoy painting it! It doesn't work in the window because the glass blocks the UV rays. Inside it is a beautiful shade of orange that is shimmery and it takes a few seconds outside to turn hot pink-ish. I'm not sure exactly how to describe it! I stamped plate BM-221 with Essie's Wrapped in Rubies which is red-orange metallic and it stamps very well. On the base of my nails I put one of my bundle monster "blings" in an orange flower. The top coat doesn't make the effect of the Del Sol nail polish work any less, and I only use Seche Vite so I don't know if it's just that brand or any top coat, but with my Calibongo brand UV-changing nail polish it does. Here are the pictures- first ones are indoors, last are outside.
Now outdoors! It really doesn't look that much different because of the stamp though...
Anyone like Del Sol? I sure do! Have a fun weekend everyone:)

LA Colors - Shock
Today I did my mani, but I didn't have the light to take a picture. Before I did it, I tried something else and didn't like it so I took it off and did the current one (which I will post tomorrow). LA Colors Shock is a really bright tangerine jelly. It takes about 2 coats to get a nice jelly effect but there's still VNL showing so I reccomend 3 coats if you don't like that. I personally do here.
It's a little more neon in real life. Like it? :D

Grey's Anatomy or... Holy mother of multichromes!
I am so happy about how this turned out. Grey's Anatomy by Wet n Wild is a really freaking cool multichrome that is a purple-grey in most lighting, then turn it and it's green! Like magic:) Multichromes really are my favorite kind of polish. I used either 3 or 4 coats of it, I can't remember. Then I stamped plate BM-203 with China Glaze Platinum Silver. It made just the perfect subtle stamp:) I am super satisfied with this, especially after a few not so good manis.
Picture time!! *Warning, many, many pictures ahead*
Have a nice weekend!

Rainstorm with Flowers
Today I used China Glaze Rainstorm, which I think is an old one, I'm not sure. It's a super pretty almost periwinkle blue with shimmer and sparkles. It's pretty sheer, so it required 3 coats. On top of it is Essie Blanc stamped with BM- 214. On my ring fingers was 5 red teardrop-shaped rhinestones in a circle that form a flower. I know this week has been pretty boring, but not to worry, today I bought some nail art brushes so I can do some real art:) Enjoy!

That is all for now because I'm not going to change my nails this week since I'm wearing my lovely Estee Lauder and I don't want to just take it off.

Ultra Violet Continued
I couldn't think of anything to do on my nails today, so I figured I might as well use my polish I was talking about today. Here it is with BM-217 tips stamped with Orly Luxe. And if you haven't guessed yet, it's one of my favorite polishes. Sadly my tip stamps always fail so just so you know, the design is a viney thing.
Yes I know its messy and I need to clean it but I'm too lazy.
